SAWADA : snare drum solo
2011年9月よりスタート。
一つのスネアドラム、スティック、マレット、自作ミュートのみを用い、30分ノンストップ、完全アコースティックの音楽を演奏しています。
ライヴ中は、主催者さんやスタッフさんにお願いし、PA、照明、空調などの電源を可能な範囲でオフにしてもらいます。
また、微細な音の表現を聴き取っていただきたいので、出来るだけ聴衆に混ざる形で演奏しています。
これは、ぼく自身が取り組んでいる、自他の境界線に関する問題を体感的に考察する行為でもあります。
現在、レコーディング音源を制作中です。
ライヴとは異なるコンセプトを設定し、一発録りした音源を多種の電気的なエフェクトで加工した作品にする予定です。

I use just only one snare drum with some sticks, mallets and handmade mute.
About 30 minutes, non-stop, I concentrate all my senses on simple
snare drum sound.
This is the “monotone sound trip” with audience.
But I will try to play so that audience can have a colorful image.
I want to play in the floor of audience (near audience), if it’s possible.
Because I want audience to hear the detailed expression.
And it is also for the viewing about border line of oneself and others.
I need non-microphone, non-PA system.
I want to play under minimum electric condition.
I would like to ask to organizer and technical crew, please shut off the
power switch of electric sound system and lighting system during my
performance as many as possible.
Because, this is also the electric power-saving performance.
It’s a serious concept of this performance.
Now I’m making “studio recording”.
It has an another concept.
With many electric effects.
